FAQs
Good questions.
01Who are the experiences for?+
Anyone who wants an active, social way to see more of the world without having to organise a whole group trip themselves. Most guests come solo, some come with a friend or partner, and you don't need to know anyone beforehand. Experiences are for guests aged 18 and over. Each one clearly states its level, so you can pick the one that suits you, whether you're a complete beginner or a confident rider ready to push further.
02Can I come solo?+
Yes, of course. This is exactly what More Life is designed for. Plenty of guests come on their own. Your crew is 5–9 guests plus your More Life host, kept small on purpose so you get to know everyone quickly, nobody gets lost in the crowd and the whole group can move together. It also means spots are limited. Come solo, leave with friends for life.
03Do I need experience or to be fit?+
Every experience clearly states its level. Some are built for complete beginners, others suit people who want to push further. You don't need to be super fit, just up for it.
04But I have no gear. Can I rent?+
No problem. We'll share a link closer to the experience so you can book your rentals.
05Will I share a room?+
Yes. Our camps are shared dorm stays, which is part of how the crew bonds. It's social and simple, not a luxury resort. If you have a genuine need for a private room, get in touch and we'll see what's possible.
06Are flights included?+
No. International flights are booked by you. We'll share clear arrival details so you know exactly when and where to land.
07Do I need travel insurance?+
Yes. You'll need comprehensive travel insurance that covers the destination and the activities in your experience.
08How much does it cost?+
Introduction to JAPOW is $2,790 AUD per person and Chase the Pow is $3,050 AUD per person with early bird pricing, based on a shared room. Early bird pricing ends on 20 November and prices increase on 21 November, so pay your deposit by 20 November to lock in the early bird price.
09What happens if there's no snow?+
Snowfall, visibility and lift operations can change quickly, so the itinerary may move around depending on weather, mountain conditions, safety and what works for the group. Snow conditions are outside our control, so More Life Collective can't be held responsible for them. Some costs, such as ski lift passes, may be non-refundable once booked. Full details are in our Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy.
10How does booking work?+
Hit "Register interest" and fill in the short form. It's free and doesn't commit you to anything. We'll email you the trip details and a link to reserve your place with a deposit. Your spot is locked in once we confirm departure.
